Flu faux pas: Germy strangers and the etiquette of being sick
Fri Jan 27, 2012
It annoys me to the extreme when co-workers call in sick for the day and then I see them at after hours business social functions. Especially when there's entertainment. They'll miss work but always find a way to show up at this stuff!
Feds: Couple claimed welfare, lived in $1.2M home

Teachers caught on tape bullying special-needs girl
Tue Nov 15, 2011
Revenge of a nerd - a true story In the 70's, I went to a parochial HS in the Midwest. Well, football was the religion and the athletes were the gods. The football coach loved to address students as you "filthy bunch of degenerates", threaten to throw people in the trash, and so forth.

Teens cutting back on prom costs
Wed May 6, 2009
My son goes to a public high school where the student parking area has much nicer cars than the teachers. Today teens want limos, upscale restuarants, expensive clothes for the prom when the older generation managed to have fun without that.

Mon May 4, 2009
What Drew did was definitely wrong but the parents have to share some responsibility for allowing an underaged child with emotional problems to flirt with boys on a website she had no business being on in the first place.
Obese have right to two airline seats, one fare
Thu Nov 20, 2008
I shop at Sam's Club often and see grossly obese people on scooters because they can't walk long distances and their first destination when they get inside the store is usually the snack bar. More often or not obesity is a self-inflicted condition.
